Outstanding Cornish businesses are set to be celebrated in style at GrowthFest 2018 and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Growth Hub supports scores of local organisations and individuals to develop, by offering expert guidance and advice. One of those businesses is Everest Media!
Their GrowthFest 2018 event will see the Royal Cornwall Showground at Wadebridge packed out this Thursday (September 20). The business community will be brought together to toast milestones and look to the future.
Success and the impact of the project will be showcased to all the movers-and-shakers on Cornwall’s business scene, as well as the wider public.
Stu Anderson is the Growth Hub’s Operations Director and can’t wait for the event to kick off. “This event is also an opportunity for us to showcase just some of the 1,800 fantastic businesses we have worked with since our launch in May 2016”, he said.
“Come along to see businesses in action, from adventure boats to defibrillator units. We have businesses large and small in our MarketPlace ready to show you what they do.”
Here's what's happening at GrowthFest 2018
During the event the Growth Hub’s latest developments and ‘exciting new projects’ are set to be revealed and explored. A series of presentations, seminars and lightening talks will also be held, looking at a variety of business themes.
Before the serious stuff there will also be the opportunity to taste some delicious foods from businesses supported by the Growth Hub. At 5pm a celebration drinks reception will be held, with the keynote speaker being Jo Fairley, co-founder of Green and Black’s chocolate.
What will Everest Media be doing at GrowthFest 2018?
We here at Everest Media cannot wait to attend the event. Our Managing Director, Samuele Armondi, will be one of those speaking about how the Growth Hub has helped us.
Samuele, whose talk begins at 3.10pm, said: "We are super excited to be attending GrowthFest 2018. At Everest we really value the support and guidance given to us by the Growth Hub. The signposting and advice has really helped us to grow and shape our business."
Everest Media's Samuele Armondi will be speaking at the event
"It will be a pleasure to speak at the event and hear all of the inspiring stories from individuals and businesses across Cornwall who have been supported by all at the Growth Hub."
The project has certainly had an incredibly inspiring couple of years. By promoting our talented businesses it has helped hundreds of us get closer to where we want to be. Here’s to many more years of success!
